Goldie’s 2007 Litter

About our November 2007 Pups

These are second generation cockapoos. The mother is third generation, and the father first generation.

The pups come papered and fully immunized. They are available to go home to their new families eight weeks after birth. If they must be shipped out of state, they must be over 10 weeks old. We do not dock the tails of our pups – dog’s tail is used for balance and expresses the dog’s feelings and character. Puppies have a strict diet of Purina Puppy Chow and lots of fresh water. In our opinion, Purina is by far the best way to get a pup started with good nutrition. We ask that new owners of our pups carry out this feeding regime for a minimum of one year.

We’ve always assigned names to the dogs. With four children in the house, this is inevitable…besides, we couldn’t bear to call them “Whelp #1”, “Whelp #2”, and so on. Suffice to say that with new homes (sometimes) come new names!

The puppies are fed on a strict diet of Iams Puppy Chow and lots of fresh water. Keeping puppies on puppy chow is the best way to establish good nutrition. We recommend you keep them on this feeding regime until they are one year old.

Blanco!

Our litte “white guy” came with some beautiful new dustings of caramel on his ears, across his eyes and on top of his back. His nose darkened to black and he has black spots on his toe pads and black lining around his cute little eyes. Blanco is very similar in temperament to Mosie. A gentle spirit!

Cassandra!

A tri-colored girl is mainly black with a titch of white on her chin and a little bit of a stripe of white on her chest and then….rich and subtle brown woven through the black on her legs, face and tummy. She is a rolly-polly girl and is super cuddly!

Diamond!

The kids call this little gal “diamond” for the diamond-shaped tuft of hair found just under her chin on her neck. A perfect white spot in the exact place you’d sport such a stone. Diamond could be Squanto’s twin except for the fact that she has less white than he. She is also a parti (three) colored pup. Mainly black with white and brown. Diamond is a rolly-polly cuddly thing. Sweet is a good word for her.

Toes!

Toes – black with white. He is stout and purposeful. When we picked him up he would always stick out one pa in the air as if he’s giving a little wave hello. His toes are white…thus the name. His new kept the name, but the folks around town call him “Lord Toes of Winnett” – he’s that spoiled.
